Systems Thinking

I'm so inspired. This has only some connection with the stated purpose of this blog but I'm putting it in here anyway. My first unit of study with my students is called "Intro to Earth Systems Science." The unit outlines three big themes about systems:

• Systems are made up of parts and processes
• Systems interact with other systems
• Changing a part of one system can have profound and unknown consequences
